The frangipani grows at every temple gate in Bali, tucked behind the ear at ceremonies and set afloat in the daily offerings, which is why most people come home calling it the Bali flower rather than anything botanical. This ring takes its five petals: each one carved from mother of pearl, framed in gold-toned metal, and tipped with three American diamonds (CZ). A round white freshwater pearl sits at the centre, where the flower's throat would be.
Fifteen stones in all, and the petals twist rather than lying flat, so the flower catches light from more than one angle at a time. The band is adjustable, fitting comfortably across a range of sizes. Set in anti-allergic Korean metal with a warm gold finish.
