Guluband
A broad flat band worn tight at the throat, traditionally mounted on fabric and tied with a dori.
Gulu means throat. The piece is a wide decorated band rather than a strand, often kundan or polki set into a cloth-backed frame.
It ties at the back with a cord, which is what lets a rigid-looking band fit different necks.
It is worn as the topmost layer of a Rajasthani or Mughal-influenced bridal set.
